The HEWALEX hand pump is a specialized device designed for the professional filling of heating and solar installations with a heat transfer medium. Thanks to its simple piston design and solid technical parameters, it provides a reliable solution for both professional installers and end users performing service work.
Construction and principle of operation
The device utilizes a proven piston pump design with a tank capacity of 3 dm³, ensuring an adequate amount of fluid for a single filling of smaller installation sections. The principle of operation is based on generating air overpressure above the liquid surface in the tank - this simple mechanism enables effective injection of the fluid into the heating or solar circuit without the need for complex electrical devices.
The set includes all necessary elements: solar pump tank with hose, solar pump piston rod, and a funnel to facilitate tank filling. The 1,4 m long hose with a standard ¾" connection provides adequate flexibility when working in various installation conditions.
Operating parameters and application possibilities
The pump enables the generation of overpressure in the installation up to 3 bar, which is a sufficient value for most standard domestic heating and solar systems as well as small-scale commercial applications. This pressure range allows for effective venting of the circuit and injection of the heat transfer medium even under higher hydraulic resistance.
The 3 liter working capacity allows for efficient fluid replenishment in systems of various sizes - from single underfloor heating loops to larger solar installations requiring periodic heat transfer medium replenishment.
