Comprehensive solution for solar installations

The ZPS 18E-01 ECO pump unit is an advanced single-circuit pump group with a built-in solar controller, designed to force optimal flow of the heat transfer fluid in solar collector installations. The product enables efficient heat transfer from solar collectors to heat consumers: storage tanks, buffers, heat exchangers, and control of additional devices in the heating system.

Advanced automation and intelligent control

The heart of the unit is the G422 series solar controller with an intuitive LCD display, which provides comfortable operation of the entire solar installation. The system supports a minimum of 19 solar installation schemes, including heating assistance and swimming pool water heating. The ability to connect 6 NTC10k temperature sensors and 3 circulation pumps and/or control valves allows for comprehensive system control.

The controller offers advanced protective functions: solar collector overheating protection (temperature >135°C), hygienic function performing periodic anti-bacterial heat treatment (anti-legionella), and vacation function protecting the installation from overheating during longer periods without heat consumption. The system graphically displays current temperatures, installation operating states, and heat gains over time (daily, weekly, monthly, and multi-year counters).

High-efficiency circulation pump and system components

The unit is equipped with an energy-efficient WILO Para ST15-130/7-50/iPWM2 circulation pump with a power consumption of 1÷50W and maximum flow rate of 3.5 m³/h. The pump is characterized by a high energy efficiency coefficient EEI ≤0.20 and PWM2 electronic control capability.

The system includes all necessary safety elements: air separator with vent, impulse flow meter for accurate measurement of the working fluid flow, 1.5 bar pressure switch monitoring pressure drop, and 6 bar safety valve. Additionally, a pressure gauge (0-6 bar), check valve, and connection for the diaphragm expansion vessel are installed.

Operating parameters and unit selection

The ZPS 18E-01 ECO P W7 unit handles installations with solar collector surface area of approximately up to 14 m². The maximum pump head at Q=0 m³/h is 7 m H₂O, and the maximum working fluid temperature reaches 110°C. Permissible working fluids include: heating water or aqueous propylene glycol solution with concentration up to 50%.

Selection of the appropriate pipe diameter depends on the number of collectors - for arrays up to 8 units, DN12-DN20 mm pipes are used with a heat transfer fluid circuit length of up to 50m. The connection nozzles have a standard size of GZ3/4, and the overall unit dimensions are 830 x 130 mm.

Universal installation with a stable bracket facilitates wall mounting, while the aesthetic thermal insulation housing ensures minimal heat loss and a professional appearance of the installation.
