The HSP18E01S6AT pump set is a complete pump group integrated with modern control automation, designed for professional heat medium flow management in solar collector installations with an area of up to 16 m². The device is an "all-in-one" ready-made solution that enables efficient heat transfer from the solar source to receivers: domestic hot water tanks, heat buffers, and heat exchangers.
Intelligent G422 control automation
At the heart of the set is the advanced G422 series solar controller with an intuitive LCD display that allows for graphical representation of current temperatures and the operating status of the entire installation. The system supports a minimum of 19 solar installation schemes, including configurations with space heating support and swimming pool water heating.
The controller provides comprehensive control through the possibility of connecting 6 NTC10k temperature sensors, controlling 3 circulation pumps or valves, and supporting 2 pulse flow meters. Additionally, the system allows for limiting the operation of the primary heat source (e.g., a heating boiler) and selecting the solar installation priority between domestic hot water and space heating support.
The hygienic function performs periodic antibacterial thermal disinfection (anti-legionella), protecting users from the development of Legionella bacteria in the domestic hot water system. Advanced protection of collectors against overheating (>135°C) and a history of overheating events ensure the operational safety of the entire system.
Comprehensive equipment and safety
The set contains all the necessary elements for the correct functioning of the solar installation: a high-efficiency SHIMGE APM20-6-130T circulation pump with a power consumption of 3-45W and an energy efficiency index of EEI ≤0.20, an air separator with an air vent equipped with a drain hose, and a pulse flow meter enabling precise measurement of the working medium flow rate.
The safety system includes a safety valve set to a pressure of 6 bar, a check valve to prevent medium backflow, and a 0-6 bar range pressure gauge for continuous monitoring of operating parameters. A built-in pressure drop switch (1,5 bar) protects against damage resulting from loss of system tightness.
Mounting versatility is ensured by the connection fitting technology, allowing for the appropriate positioning of the set relative to the tank and adjustment of the direction of the propylene glycol circuit pipe outlets (concentration up to 50%). A stable bracket facilitates wall mounting, and an aesthetic thermal insulation housing protects against heat loss.
Pump versions and parameter selection
The TP S6 model utilizes the SHIMGE APM20-6-130T pump with a PWM2 control signal and an alternative "on/off" mode with manual setting of one of three rotational speed stages. The maximum pump capacity is 2,4 m³/h at a head of 6 m H₂O, which allows for the service of typical single-family residential installations.
The selection of the appropriate piping diameter (DN12-DN20) should be carried out according to the manufacturer's tables, taking into account the number of solar collectors (maximum 8 pieces), the total absorber area, and assumptions regarding the length of the heat medium circuit (up to 50 meters). For unlisted collector models or a larger number of collectors, parameter selection requires an individual hydraulic analysis.
The TP version additionally enables powering and monitoring the HEWALEX titanium anode with error signaling on the controller display - particularly important for domestic hot water systems requiring active cathodic protection of metal elements in contact with domestic hot water.
