Solar Collector KS2600F TLP AC

The KS2600F TLP AC flat solar collector is a renewable energy heating device, created based on 30 years of experience in the RES industry. This product from the Polish company HEWALEX allows for a significant reduction in domestic hot water heating costs in residential and commercial buildings.

Construction and hydraulic system

The heart of the collector is an aluminum-copper (Al-Cu) absorber manufactured using laser welding technology. The absorber is coated with a PVD coating, which achieves solar radiation absorption at a level of 95% with an emissivity of 5%.

The front of the collector consists of 3.2 mm thick tempered solar glass with the highest solar transmittance class U1. The glass is hail-resistant according to the EN ISO 9806 standard - it withstands hail impacts with a diameter of up to 45 mm.

The collector casing is made of powder-coated aluminum profiles. The bottom of the casing is insulated with ROCKWOOL mineral wool, while the side walls are made of melamine.

The absorber piping system is designed in a harp configuration with four connection ports. The ports are equipped with 3/4" threads and o-ring seals made of Viton, which is resistant to high temperatures and water vapor.

The harp system protects the heat transfer fluid from overheating in case of a lack of heat take-up, without the need to equip the installation with an emergency power source. Flexible connectors allow for the creation of arrays of up to 8 collectors connected in series.

The collector achieves an optical efficiency of 81%. The total surface area is 2.62 m², and the nominal unit power for standard test conditions G=1000 W/m² is 201.2 W.

Thermodynamic parameters define the heat loss coefficients a1=3.36 W/(m²K) and a2=0.013 W/(m²K²). The maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, and the stagnation temperature reaches 197°C.

The product holds the Solar Keymark certificate no. 011-7S2822 F, which confirms its resistance to extremely high temperature and pressure, thermal shocks, and mechanical loads from wind and hail. This certification is required to obtain subsidies and financial support for solar installations.

The HEWALEX mounting system enables the installation of collectors on roofs covered with various materials - corrugated or flat tiles, flat or trapezoidal sheet metal, and bitumen felt. For roofs with a slope below 30 degrees, special correction systems are available to ensure the optimal angle of solar incidence.
