Advanced solar installation control
The G422-P09A controller is a state-of-the-art solution for managing solar collector installations, designed for maximum energy efficiency in accordance with the ErP directive. The device features HEWALEX titanium anode support with error signaling on the display - a function available exclusively in this version (HSS0012). The user panel is equipped with a large LCD display and a clear touch keyboard (7 fields), ensuring intuitive and comfortable operation.
The controller enables precise control of various types of circulation pumps - both standard constant-speed pumps and modern pumps with electronic speed regulation via PWM signal. The system supports up to 6 NTC10k temperature sensors, 3 circulation pumps or control valves, and 2 pulse flow meters, allowing for comprehensive control of the entire solar installation.
System functionality and safety
The device offers support for a minimum of 19 solar installation schemes, including those with central heating assistance and pool water heating. The system allows for the selection of the solar installation operating priority (domestic hot water, heating assistance, pool water) and limiting the operation of the primary heat source, e.g., a heating boiler.
Advanced safety features include collector overheating protection (with a history of states >135°C), a hygienic function (periodic antibacterial thermal disinfection), and a holiday function protecting the installation from overheating during prolonged periods without heat consumption. The system also provides water heater overheating protection by transferring heat to a solid fuel boiler.
Monitoring and system integration
The controller offers graphical indication of current temperatures and installation operating states, as well as a graphical representation of heat gains over time with daily, weekly, monthly, and multi-year counters. The system provides real-time updates on the heating efficiency of the collectors and the electrical energy consumption of the solar circulation pump.
The option to connect an EKO-LAN module enables remote monitoring of the installation via the EKONTROL system. Additionally, a pressure switch connection is available for controlling pressure in the solar installation, as well as compatibility with a UPS device to maintain the operation of the solar circulation pump.
Specification and operating conditions
The device is powered by 220-240V at a frequency of 50/60Hz, consuming only 2.5W of power. The protection rating is IP65 on the front side, ensuring resistance to environmental conditions. The controller operates in an ambient temperature from 0°C to 40°C with a relative humidity of up to 85% at 25°C.
The system is available in 22 language versions, enabling wide international application. The product is covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty of 2 years.
