Complete solar system for efficient energy harvesting

The KOMFORT PLUS HX200-2KS2100.S102 solar set is a system designed specifically for 2-3 person households, offering full automation for solar installation control. The system has been developed to maximize the use of solar energy for heating domestic hot water and supporting home heating and pool water heating.

Advanced system components

The central element of the set is a 200-liter dual-coil heater equipped with a magnesium anode, which effectively protects the tank against corrosion. Two KS2100 solar collectors with a total gross area of 4.12 m² feature an optical efficiency of 76.4% and heat loss coefficients of a1=3.17 W/(m²K) and a2=0.012 W/(m²K²). The collectors are made of low-iron tempered glass with a transparent coating that allows up to 95% of solar radiation to pass through to the absorber.

The ALEX HX10 pump unit forms the hydraulic heart of the installation - despite its compact design (11.5×37.5×13 cm), it offers the full functionality of a two-way group thanks to a special method of air separation. It is equipped with an energy-efficient SHIMGE or WILO pump and an air vent valve with a built-in check valve.

Intelligent control and monitoring

The system utilizes the GH26 controller - an advanced solution supporting almost every type of solar installation. The device offers intuitive operation via a large LCD display with the option to choose from 22 menu languages. The controller allows for the connection of up to 6 NTC10k temperature sensors and the simultaneous control of 3 circulation pumps.

Advanced functions include collector overheating protection (above 135°C), an antibacterial hygienic function (anti-legionella), time programs for circulation pumps, and the ability to limit the operation of the primary heat source. The system automatically selects the most favorable circulation pump operating settings through an advanced algorithm that matches parameters to the installation size and dynamically changing solar conditions.

Remote management and operational safety

The set includes an EKO-LAN modem enabling integration with the EKONTROL platform developed by Hewalex. The platform collects temperature data and device operating statuses approximately every minute and provides free access to the STANDARD package, which includes alarm monitoring (push, mail), basic device operating statistics, and current temperatures.

The system guarantees comprehensive operational safety thanks to an 18-liter expansion tank, a safety valve, and a pressure gauge. The use of TERMSOL EKO fluid with a freezing temperature of -25°C protects the installation against the freezing of the heat transfer medium during the winter period. Additionally, an electronic flow meter enables precise control of the heat transfer medium flow.

All components are covered by a warranty on the collectors without the need for mandatory inspections. The system meets the requirements of the European EN ISO 9806 standard and holds the Solar Keymark quality certificate, confirming durability and high energy efficiency.
