Solar system for domestic hot water heating

The KOMFORT PLUS HX200-2KS2100.S108 solar set is a complete solution for households looking for high-performance solar collectors with low-iron tempered glass and absorbers made using laser welding technology. The system has been specifically designed for the needs of 2-3 people, offering not only basic domestic hot water heating but also the possibility of supporting home heating or heating swimming pool water.

System components

The heart of the installation consists of two KS2100F TLP AC solar collectors with a total gross area of 4.12 m². Each collector utilizes low-iron tempered glass with a transparent coating that transmits up to 95% of solar radiation. Aluminum-copper absorbers made with laser welding technology ensure a high optical efficiency of 76.4%, while the harp-shaped pipe layout guarantees efficient and even glycol flow.

The heat storage system is based on a 200-liter dual-coil water heater equipped with a magnesium anode. This design allows for the simultaneous connection of the solar installation and a traditional heat source, ensuring a continuous supply of hot water even during periods of limited sunlight.

Control and safety

The ALEX HX10 pump unit is a single-circuit group solution with the full functionality of a two-way group, thanks to an air separator in the form of a heat exchanger and an air vent valve mounted on the upper outlet connection. The design eliminates gravity circulation of the solar fluid and ensures effective venting of the installation.

The GH26 controller offers support for up to 6 temperature sensors, 3 circulation pumps, the ability to control an external heat source, and timer programs. Safety functions include protection against collector overheating (above 135°C), an antibacterial hygienic function, and a holiday mode to protect the installation during longer absences.

Set contents and technical support

The set contains all the necessary elements for installation: an 18-liter expansion vessel, BiSolar DN16/16m flexible twin pipe, TERMSOL EKO -25°C (20 kg) heating fluid, an electronic flow meter, and a complete set of connection accessories. All components are mutually matched, eliminating the risk of incorrect system element selection.

The manufacturer provides technical support through the Solar Installation Support Department and free access to the EKONTROL STANDARD platform, which enables remote monitoring of the installation's operation.
