The Komfort Plus HX300-2KS2600.S116 solar set is a complete solution designed for heating domestic hot water in single-family homes. The manufacturer recommends this set for households of 3-5 people, making it a universal choice for most families. The complete set consists of two KS2600F TLP AC flat plate solar collectors with a total gross area of 5.24 m², a dual-coil water heater with a capacity of 300 dm³, and complete hydraulic and control equipment.

Construction and performance of solar collectors

The construction of the KS2600F TLP AC collectors is based on an aluminum absorber plate with a high-selective coating, permanently connected to copper piping using laser welding technology. The harp-type absorber arrangement is equipped with four connection nozzles, which allow natural heat dissipation and protect the heat transfer fluid from overheating even in case of failure or power outage - without the need for an additional energy source. The housing is made of a powder-coated aluminum frame, with the bottom insulated with mineral wool. The solar glass with a thickness of 3.2 mm is tempered and hail-resistant according to EN ISO 9806 standard - it can withstand hailstone impacts up to 45 mm in diameter. The increased ratio of active surface to total surface enhances the energy efficiency of the entire module.

Control, water heater and hydraulic equipment

The heart of the set is the new generation MiniSOL controller of Plug&Play type, designed for maximum installation and operation convenience. The device is equipped with a built-in WiFi module and is operated exclusively via a mobile application for Android and iOS systems - no traditional control panel is required. An advanced algorithm controls the WILO circulation pump with PWM2 or iPWM2 signal, allowing smooth adjustment of speed to current sunlight conditions and heat demand, minimizing the electrical energy consumption of the pump itself.

The ALEX HX10 pump group contains all necessary elements of the solar circuit - in addition to the circulation pump, you will also find an electronic flow meter and air vent valves ensuring safe operation. The compact construction of the unit simplifies installation and reduces the number of potential leak points.

The dual-coil water heater OKC300 NTRR/SOL with a capacity of 300 dm³ allows connection of an additional heat source (e.g. gas boiler or heat pump) to the second coil - ensuring continuous hot water supply even during periods of low sunlight. Inside there is a magnesium anode protecting the tank against corrosion.

The set also includes a ZNP 18DS diaphragm expansion vessel for solar fluid, TERMSOL EKO thermal fluid with a freezing point of −25°C (20 kg packaging), BiSolar DN12 flexible pipe (25 mb) facilitating installation routing, and a ZPKS connection kit with KS3/4 fittings. The manufacturer recommends ordering the collector mounting system and installation pipes separately - they are selected individually based on the specific roof conditions, allowing for optimal customization of the entire system.

Warranty and domestic production

All components of the set are produced domestically by HEWALEX, ensuring easy access to service and spare parts. The warranty is 10 years on solar collectors (+1 year after registration), 5 years on the water heater (+1 year after registration), and 2 years on the pump group (+1 year after registration). Factory-selected components - collector surface area relative to tank capacity - eliminates the risk of incorrect system configuration and guarantees efficient operation throughout the entire service life.
