Comprehensive solar set for DHW and heating support

The Komfort Plus HX300-2KS2600.W117 solar set is a complete photothermal solution designed for households of 3-4 people. The set includes a dual-coil water heater with a capacity of 300 liters with a magnesium anode, two KS2600F TLP AC flat solar collectors with a total gross area of 5.24 m², an ALEX HX10 pump group with a WILO circulation pump, and a MiniSOL controller with a built-in WiFi module and mobile app support for Android and iOS.

In addition to basic domestic hot water heating, the set enables cooperation with additional heating devices - gas boilers, electric heaters, domestic water circulation pumps, and upper coil pumps for solid fuel boilers. This allows the solar installation to support the building's central heating or heat pool water outside the heating season.

Factory-selected components - with collector area matched to the tank capacity - eliminate the risk of incorrect system selection. The mutual compatibility of the solar circuit elements allows for rapid installation assembly and shortens installation time.

KS2600F TLP AC Collectors - construction and efficiency

The KS2600F TLP AC flat collector is equipped with an aluminum absorber plate with a high-selectivity coating and copper piping permanently connected to the plate using laser welding technology. The harp-shaped absorber layout with four connection ports ensures effective heat dissipation even in the event of a power failure or lack of power - the installation then does not require an additional emergency power source.

The collector housing is made of a powder-coated aluminum frame, with an aluminum bottom insulated with mineral wool. The solar glass with a thickness of 3.2 mm is tempered and hail-resistant according to the EN ISO 9806 standard - resistant to hail up to a diameter of 45 mm. The design is adapted for operation in any climate, including cold climates, thanks to the full thermal insulation of the housing.

The increased share of the absorber's active area relative to the total collector area increases its energy efficiency. The large total area allows for a reduction in the number of connections between collectors - this is significant for installations consisting of a larger number of modules.

Control and system integration

The new generation MiniSOL controller operates using Plug&Play technology - installation and commissioning require minimal effort from both the installer and the user. The built-in WiFi module enables full system operation exclusively via a mobile app on Android or iOS - without the need to use a wall-mounted control panel.

An advanced control algorithm regulates the circulation pump speed using a PWM2 or iPWM2 signal, allowing for smooth adjustment of operating parameters to current solar radiation and heat demand. Intelligent setting of operating parameters for every installation size maximizes energy efficiency while minimizing the electrical energy consumption of the WILO circulation pump.

The set equipment also includes: an 18 L expansion vessel for glycol, a BiSolar DN16 double flexible hose with a length of 16 m, a 60 L electronic flow meter, an EKO-LAN modem, and TERMSOL EKO fluid with temperature resistance down to −25°C.

Warranty and origin

The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on solar collectors, which is extended by an additional year upon registration of the set. An analogous principle applies to the water heater (5 years + 1 year) and the pump group (2 years + 1 year). The set components are manufactured domestically by HEWALEX in Czechowice-Dziedzice - ensuring easy access to the manufacturer's service support.
