Modern solar set for comfortable water heating

High-performance KS2100F solar collectors

The heart of the set consists of three KS2100F TLP AC solar collectors with an absorber made of aluminum and copper (Al-Cu) using laser welding technology. Each collector has a gross area of 2.06 m², an aperture of 1.93 m², and an optical efficiency of 81.5%.

The absorber is coated with a high-selectivity PVD coating and features a U1 class glass with the highest solar radiation transmittance, along with full thermal insulation of the casing. The completely redesigned casing made of aluminum profiles forming the glass frame increases the ratio of the active area to the total area of the collector.

The collectors are characterized by their dimensions (2022 × 1019 × 90 mm) and weight (35 kg), which facilitates transport and installation. The liquid capacity of one collector is 0.9 liters, and the heat loss coefficients are a1 = 3.430 W/(m²K) and a2 = 0.013 W/(m²K²).

Advanced control and pumping system

The set includes the ALEX HX10 pump group - a result of design work by Hewalex, produced in Czechowice-Dziedzice. The system integrates all necessary elements in a polypropylene housing that provides thermal insulation.

The pump group offers low flow resistance for the entire assembly, confirmed by laboratory tests, and easy installation thanks to its thoughtful design. The system is equipped with two drain valves allowing for easy filling and flushing of the installation, as well as a connection tee with an air vent mounted at the upper coil connection - where it functions as an air separator.

The GH26 solar controller provides advanced control functions for the solar installation's operation.

Complete dual-coil tank

The dual-coil water heater with a capacity of 300 liters is equipped with a magnesium anode to protect against corrosion and a second coil allowing for integration with an additional heat source (e.g., a gas boiler).

The expansion vessel for glycol with a capacity of 18 liters stabilizes the pressure in the system of TERMSOL EKO solar working fluid with a freezing temperature of -25°C. An electronic flow meter with a flow rate of 60L/min enables precise control of the fluid flow through the collectors.

Completeness of delivery and installation requirements

The set contains all the necessary elements to start the solar installation, except for the bi-solar pipes, which are selected individually based on the distance between the collectors and the tank, and the supporting structure adapted to the type of roof.

The system is ready for operation after connecting the media (domestic water) and installing the external elements (collectors on the roof).
