Solar systems and collector interconnection

The KS 3/4" coupling enables the secure connection of individual solar collectors into larger energy fields.

In practice, the coupling allows for the creation of collector array configurations, with the manufacturer permitting a maximum of 8 collectors in one array. This limitation is due to the linear expansion of the collector manifold pipes caused by temperature changes - larger quantities require consultation with the manufacturer's Technical Department.

Installation and system compatibility

The special design of the coupling ensures ease of assembly and disassembly, which significantly accelerates the solar collector installation process and facilitates potential service work or system expansion. The component is compatible with various solar collector models, offering wide installation configuration possibilities.

In complete solar sets, the KS 3/4" coupling is used together with the ZPKS connection set. When placing separate orders, 2 pieces of the coupling must be ordered for each collector being connected in sequence to ensure a correct hydraulic connection between individual modules.
