Application and Media

The valve is intended for district heating networks, air conditioning systems, water supply installations, and other industrial applications. It operates with media compliant with Group 2 according to Directive 97/23/EC — water, air, steam, oils, and other substances non-reactive with carbon steel. The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +150°C, meeting the requirements of systems with variable thermal loads.

Construction and Installation

The flanged ball valve features a full bore design, minimizing pressure losses and facilitating pipeline cleaning. The floating ball ensures tight shut-off without the need for additional seating force. The stem sealing, made with an O-ring, prevents leakage during cyclic opening and closing. The construction is disassemblable, allowing for maintenance without dismantling the entire installation. The possibility of axial compensation enables adaptation to thermal expansion of pipes.

Pressure and Material

The valve withstands a maximum working pressure of 1.6 MPa — sufficient for typical distribution networks in construction and industry. All components in contact with the medium are made of carbon steel; therefore, it cannot be used in systems conveying aggressive media or substances chemically reactive with this steel.
