Application and Media

The valve is intended for district heating networks, air conditioning systems, water supply installations, and other industrial applications. It operates safely with fluids belonging to Group 2 according to Directive 97/23/EC — primarily water, oils, and other media that do not react chemically with carbon steel. It is not suitable for aggressive or corrosive media that could damage the carbon steel body.

Construction and Operating Conditions

The valve body is made of carbon steel, and the full-bore ball ensures minimal flow resistance, facilitating cleaning and maintaining flow capacity at high flow rates. The stem sealing is achieved using O-rings, ensuring tightness during cyclic opening and closing operations. The operating temperature range covers -30°C to +200°C, allowing use in both cooling systems and high-temperature district heating circuits. The maximum working pressure is 1.6 MPa (16 bar) — a value confirmed by the manufacturer as stable for this model.

Installation and Compatibility

The F12-type flange connection with 8 bolt holes enables installation in accordance with the PN-EN 1092-1 standard. Flange dimensions (ØDz=250 mm, ØD1=188 mm) are standard for DN125, ensuring interchangeability with other fittings of this type. The weight of 28.6 kg indicates a robust construction but requires adequate support during installation, especially in long pipeline sections. The valve is not equipped with a handle; the control mechanism (handle or worm gear) is mounted separately. The ŚZSJ Certificate No. 2/17 and Declaration of Conformity 33/AP confirm compliance with PN-EN 12266-1, indicating controlled tightness and strength tests.
