Application and Media

The valve is intended for district heating systems, air conditioning systems, water supply networks, and other industrial installations. It operates with fluids from Group 2 according to Directive 97/23/EC — namely water, oils, and other substances that do not chemically react with carbon steel. It is not suitable for aggressive media, high-temperature steam outside the specified range, or gases.

Operating Range and Durability

The permissible temperature range is from -20°C to +200°C, making the valve suitable even under extreme conditions — from winter district heating networks to hot industrial circuits. The maximum working pressure is 40 bar (PN 40), and the minimum is 16 bar (PN 16) — meeting the requirements for medium and large installations. The flanged construction with reduced bore ensures stability under high pressure while restricting flow to the required level — ideal where full flow capacity is not needed.

Construction and Installation

The ball valve features a standard handle for manual operation — simple to use and easy to integrate into existing systems. Upon request, a version with a worm gear actuator or prepared for such an actuator can be ordered — facilitating automation or use in hard-to-reach locations. Compliance with the standard PN-EN 12266-1 guarantees leak tightness control and reliability during cyclic opening and closing. The ŚZSJ Certificate No. 2/17 and Declaration Number 39/AP confirm compliance with applicable regulations.
