Application and Media

The valve is designed for systems conveying water, oils, and other non-reactive media with carbon steel — such as district heating, air conditioning, water supply, and other industrial installations. It complies with the requirements of Directive 97/23/EC for Group 2 fluids. It is not suitable for media aggressive towards carbon steel — e.g., acids, salts, or highly corrosive chemicals.

Operating Conditions and Construction

Operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +200°C, at a maximum pressure of 1.6 MPa (16 bar). The construction is a full-bore flanged ball valve — offering unobstructed flow, minimal pressure drop, and easy installation and removal thanks to the standard flanged connection. The operating handle is standard; a worm gear actuator can be added upon request, or the valve can be prepared for actuator mounting — facilitating operation for large diameters or hard-to-reach locations.

Compliance and Reliability

Compliant with standard PN-EN 12266-1 — ensuring controlled tightness and strength properties during testing. Manufacturer's warranty is 2 years.
