Application and Media

The valve is designed for flow control in district heating, air conditioning, water supply, and other industrial installations. It operates safely with Group 2 fluids according to Directive 97/23/EC — namely water, oils, and other substances that do not chemically react with carbon steel. It is not suitable for aggressive media such as acids, alkalis, or brines.

Operating Conditions and Construction

It operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +200°C, making it suitable for both cooling systems and high-temperature district heating circuits. The maximum working pressure is 1.6 MPa (16 bar), corresponding to PN16 class. The construction is a full-bore flanged ball valve — the unobstructed flow channel ensures low pressure drop and smooth flow even at high flow rates. The flanged connection guarantees tightness and stability for large diameters and facilitates installation and maintenance.

The valve is standardly equipped with a manual operating handle — simple, reliable, and intuitive operation. For specialized applications — such as large diameters or hard-to-reach locations — an option for worm gear actuator mounting or preparation for such an actuator is available.
