Application and Function

The ball valve is designed for flow control of water in heating, air conditioning, water supply, and industrial installations. It operates as a full-port valve, opening or closing the flow with a 90-degree rotation, without flow regulation. It is intended for systems requiring reliable flow isolation under high pressures and temperatures.

Construction and Materials

The body and all internal components are made of materials resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. The ball and stem ensure tightness at a maximum working pressure of 40 bar (4.0 MPa). O-ring seals and additional seating rings guarantee tightness both at threaded connections and within the valve. Threaded connections (F05) allow direct mounting to pipes in accordance with ISO 228/1. The handle is mounted as standard, enabling quick and intuitive manual operation. Upon request, a worm gear actuator can be installed or the valve can be prepared for actuator mounting.

Operating Conditions and Compliance

The valve operates safely within a temperature range of -20°C to +200°C, making it suitable even for systems with steam or hot water. The working pressure up to 40 bar (4.0 MPa) corresponds to PN40 class, meaning the valve is designed for operation in high-pressure networks, such as heating or industrial systems. The weight of 5 kg indicates a robust construction with thicker body walls, enhancing resistance to water hammer and ensuring long-term stability. Connection dimensions (ØD1=78 mm, ØD0=100 mm, n=4 holes) are matched to standard DN32 flanges, requiring no adaptation during installation.
