Ball valve water DN 32 WKP 2a 1.6 - 4.0 MPa APA03210040160
Application and Media
The valve is intended for systems conveying non-aggressive media toward carbon steel — primarily water, but also oils and other liquids that do not react with the body material. It operates safely in district heating networks, water supply installations, air conditioning systems, and other industrial applications. It is approved for use with fluids in accordance with Group 2 of Directive 97/23/EC.
Operating Conditions and Construction
It can operate at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +200°C, with a maximum working pressure of 40 bar (4.0 MPa). The body is made of carbon steel, ensuring resistance to mechanical loads and long-term operation under industrial conditions. The full-bore flanged ball provides minimal flow resistance — there is no reduction in cross-section, which is crucial for demanding applications. O-ring seals ensure tightness without the need for frequent maintenance.
As standard, it is equipped with a simple handle for manual operation. Upon request, a version with a worm gear or a socket for a gear operator can be supplied — a solution worth considering for hard-to-reach installations or those requiring frequent adjustment.
Compliance and Installation
The valve complies with the PN-EN 12266-1 standard regarding tightness and strength testing of valves. The flanged connection (type F05) enables easy installation on pipelines with flanges — no threading or welding is required. Flange dimensions comply with international standards, ensuring compatibility with existing installations. The weight of 4.3 kg indicates a robust construction — this is not lightweight domestic equipment, but a component designed for continuous operation under pressure.
