Application and Media

The valve is intended for systems carrying water, oils, and other non-reactive media with carbon steel — such as district heating, HVAC, water supply, and industrial installations. It meets the requirements of Directive 97/23/EC for Group 2 fluids. It is not suitable for media aggressive to steel — e.g., acids, salts, or highly corrosive chemicals.

Operating Conditions and Construction

Operates at temperatures from -20°C to +200°C, making it suitable for both cooling systems and high-temperature district heating circuits. Maximum working pressure is 1.6–4.0 MPa (16–40 bar) — a value confirmed by the manufacturer and consistent with the range for this model. The flanged design allows for easy installation and removal in industrial pipelines without the need to isolate the entire pipe section. The full-bore ball ensures minimal pressure drop and easy cleaning.

Compliance and Additional Options

Compliant with standard PN-EN 12266-1 — guarantees tightness and reliability tested by the standard method. Available with a worm gear actuator or ready for actuator mounting — facilitates control in hard-to-reach locations or those requiring higher torque. Manufacturer's warranty is 2 years.
