EMOtec electrothermal actuator — reliable valve control

The EMOtec electrothermal actuator is a compact device for the automatic control of thermostatic valves in heating and cooling installations. Thanks to its normally open (NO) function, it ensures safe system operation — in the event of a power failure, the valve remains open, guaranteeing continuous medium flow.

Compact design for demanding applications

The device has been designed for installation in manifold cabinets thanks to its small dimensions (53.6 × 49.4 mm). Made of impact-resistant and high-temperature resistant plastic, it ensures long-term operation in harsh conditions. IP54 classification guarantees effective protection against dust and moisture in all mounting positions.

Precise control and energy savings

The actuator operates with a PWM signal, providing smooth regulation of the valve position. A 4 mm working stroke allows for precise control of the medium flow, and a duty cycle time of approximately 3 minutes guarantees stable settings. Power consumption is optimized — 2 VA in continuous mode and a maximum of 70 VA during startup.

Wide operating temperature range

The device maintains full functionality in temperatures from 0°C to +60°C, enabling installation in various locations. A built-in surge protector (2.5 kV) in the 230V version protects the electronics from mains surges.

Universal compatibility

The actuator fits all HEIMEIER thermostatic and three-way valves, eliminating the need for specialized adapters. The standard 1-meter connection cable facilitates installation in various configurations.

Position indicator for easy diagnostics

The built-in position indicator allows for a quick check of the device status without the need for disassembly — particularly useful during servicing and inspection of the heating system.
