Advanced electric control in a compact form

The digitally configurable proportional push valve actuator with a force of 160/200 N is a modern solution for precise valve control in HVAC systems. The device, powered by 24 VAC/VDC, offers full programmability of operating parameters via a 0-10 VDC control signal, allowing for flexible adaptation to specific installation requirements.

Construction and operating parameters

The compact housing with dimensions of 45×77×102 mm, made of high-quality plastic (PC/ABS GF8), ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The IP54 protection rating guarantees reliable operation even in demanding industrial conditions. The valve actuator operates in a wide temperature range from 0°C to +50°C, and its linear mechanism provides a precise stroke of 6.9 mm with a cycle time of 69 seconds.

The automatic valve stroke detection system eliminates the need for manual calibration, while the self-regulating stroke length adjusts to the characteristics of the specific valve. Maximum power consumption is only 1.3 VA in operating mode and 0.25 W in standby.

Functionality and configuration capabilities

The I/O version offers advanced integration capabilities with automation systems. The built-in binary input (maximum 100 Ω) and 0(2)-10 VDC output signal enable two-way communication with supervisory systems. The adjustable position signaling system allows for real-time monitoring of the current valve position.

The change-over function enables automatic switching between heating and cooling modes based on supply temperature or ΔT temperature difference detection. Optional ΔT and return temperature limiting optimizes heat source efficiency by ensuring optimal temperature regimes.

Programming and diagnostics

Full configuration is performed wirelessly via smartphone using Bluetooth technology and a dedicated TA-Dongle. The intuitive application allows for the setting of all operating parameters: characteristics (linear or EQM), proportional ranges (0-10, 10-0, 2-10, or 10-2 VDC), sensitivity hysteresis, and start-up delays.

The advanced diagnostic system records the last 10 system errors, enabling rapid identification of operational issues. The settings copy function allows for instantaneous duplication of configurations between multiple valve actuators using the TA-Dongle.

Applications and compatibility

The valve actuator mounted on a PIBCV (Proportional Integrated Ball Control Valve) detects temperature differences ΔT between supply and return, enabling intelligent management of medium flows. The M30×1.5 type connection ensures universal compatibility with a wide range of control valves.

The device meets the requirements of European standards EN 60730 and holds the CE certificate in accordance with the LV-D 2014/35/EU directive, guaranteeing user safety and compliance with industry standards.
