Digital actuator TA-SLIDER 500 2T, 24 VAC/VDC, 1m 32222510914
Advanced hydraulic control with temperature measurement
The digitally configurable TA-Slider 500 push-pull proportional actuator offers a professional solution for modern HVAC installations. Thanks to its temperature measurement capability and advanced control, it serves both as a terminal unit actuator mounted on PIBCV for ΔT detection and in heating/cooling change-over systems.
The device provides wide possibilities for parameter configuration directly on-site. A fully programmable binary input, a relay, and an adjustable maximum valve stroke open new perspectives for advanced hydraulic control and system balancing.
Precise control and performance optimization
The actuator allows for the optional limitation of the temperature difference ΔT and the return temperature, which translates into optimizing heat source efficiency by ensuring optimal temperature regimes. The Change-over function allows for intelligent switching between heating and cooling flows - automatically based on supply temperature or ΔT detection.
Control signals include proportional ranges from 0(2)-10 VDC with an adjustable sensitivity hysteresis from 0.1 to 0.5 VDC and a low-pass filter with a frequency of 0.33 Hz. The device automatically detects the valve stroke up to a maximum value of 16,2 mm, ensuring precise position control.
Modern communication technology
Configuration is conveniently performed via smartphone using Bluetooth technology and the dedicated TA-Dongle. The system offers over 200 configuration options for input and output signals, allowing the operating characteristics to be tailored to the specific requirements of the installation.
The diagnostic function tracks the last 10 system errors, enabling rapid identification of operational issues. Additionally, a quick setting copy function between actuators is available via the TA-Dongle, significantly accelerating the process of deploying identical configurations in multiple locations.
Electrical and environmental parameters
The device is powered by 24 VAC/VDC ±15% at a frequency of 50/60 Hz ±3 Hz. Power consumption in operating mode is less than 3.2 VA for the VAC version or 1.6 W for VDC, and in standby mode, it is 1.3 VA or 0.6 W, respectively.
Operating speed can be set to 4 or 6 seconds per millimeter (default 4 s/mm). The noise level does not exceed 30 dBA, ensuring acoustic comfort in residential and office rooms.
Mechanical design and materials
The closing force is 300 N for pull and 500 N for push. The cover is made of PC/ABS GF8, while the base is made of PA GF40. The threaded nut is made of nickel-plated brass M30x1,5, standardly mounted to the valve.
Connection cables are available in lengths of 1, 2, or 5 meters. The halogen-free option meets the fire class requirements B2ca - s1a,d1,a1 according to EN 50575 for increased fire safety.
Operating conditions and certificates
The device operates stably in a temperature range from 0°C to +50°C at a relative humidity of 5-95% RH non-condensing. The storage temperature ranges from -20°C to +70°C.
The IP54 protection class ensures reliable operation even in difficult environmental conditions. The CE certificate confirms compliance with the EMC (2014/30/EU), LVD (2014/35/EU), and RoHS (2011/65/EU) directives, guaranteeing safe operation in professional installations.
Available as standard in white RAL9016 and grey RAL7047.
