Product Characteristics and Application

STAD ZERO balancing valve for precise hydraulic regulation in heating, cooling, and domestic hot water circulation systems. The product has been developed to meet the latest environmental requirements - it is made entirely of lead-free brass, with a lead content not exceeding 0.1%.

The main function of the valve is to enable precise hydraulic balancing of the entire installation. This allows for accurate control of medium flow in individual circuits. High regulation accuracy is effective in both small residential installations and large commercial systems.

The valve is suitable for applications ranging from simple single-family installations to complex multi-zone systems in office buildings or hotels.

Construction and Materials

The valve body and all structural components are made of AMETAL® - a special alloy developed specifically for this type of application, characterized by high resistance to dezincification. This alloy ensures long-term tightness and minimizes the risk of galvanic corrosion, significantly extending the service life of the device.

All seals are made of EPDM O-ring, a material resistant to high temperatures and most media used in heating and sanitary installations. The valve stem is also made of AMETAL®, and the sliding washer is made of PTFE, ensuring smooth operation of the mechanism throughout its entire service life.

The control knob is made of a combination of polyamide and TPE, providing resistance to mechanical damage. Measuring elements and drain connections are also made of AMETAL®, maintaining material consistency throughout the product.

Operating Parameters and Functionality

The valve operates in a temperature range from -20°C to +120°C (temporarily up to +150°C) at a maximum working pressure of PN 25. The Kvs value of 14.2 ensures optimal flow for typical installation applications. The nominal diameter DN 32 (1 1/4 inch) allows for use in larger installations with high flow rates.

The control mechanism is equipped with a digital scale, enabling quick and precise initial setting. This makes the hydraulic balancing process significantly simpler and more repeatable. Additionally, the valve features full flow shut-off capability and the ability to quickly measure operating parameters.

Self-sealing measuring connections allow for safe differential pressure measurement without the need for additional sealing of connections. Integrated drainage enables easy emptying of installation sections during maintenance or system modernization works.

The product is compatible with water, neutral fluids, and water-glycol mixtures with a concentration up to 57%, extending its application to low-temperature installations and frost protection systems.
