Application and general characteristics

The STAD ZERO balancing valve enables precise hydraulic regulation of heating, cooling, and domestic hot water circulation systems. The product was developed to meet local environmental requirements through the use of lead-free brass with a lead content below 0.1%, making it fully safe for user health.

The device operates in a temperature range from -20°C to 120°C (temporarily up to 150°C) at a maximum working pressure of PN 25. Its versatility stems from the ability to work with various media - water, neutral fluids, and water-glycol mixtures with a concentration up to 57%. The valve is equipped with a drainage function, which allows for easy emptying of the installation during service or maintenance work.

Construction and materials

The valve body and all structural elements are made of AMETAL® - a special alloy developed by IMI Hydronic Engineering, characterized by high resistance to dezincification. This material ensures long-term durability even in the aggressive environment of heating installations.

The sealing system is based on EPDM O-rings, which guarantee reliable sealing of both the body with the cover and the valve seat and stem. The stem made of AMETAL® alloy works with a PTFE sliding washer, ensuring smooth regulation without the risk of components sticking. The drive spring is made of stainless steel.

Threaded connections meet the requirements of ISO 228 standards for internal threads and DIN 3546 for external threads. For larger diameters (DN 25-50), smooth ends adapted for compression systems are also available.

The STAD ZERO valve offers comprehensive functionality including hydraulic balancing, pre-setting, precise flow measurement, an isolation function, and the possibility of drainage. Particular attention is drawn to the innovative handle equipped with a digital scale, which enables quick and accurate setting - crucial for achieving optimal hydraulic balancing of the entire installation.

Self-sealing measuring ports allow for safe and accurate measurement of operating parameters during the balancing process without the risk of medium leaks. The handle made of polyamide and TPE ensures ergonomic operation and legibility of markings.

High regulation accuracy makes the valve suitable for both small domestic installations and large commercial or industrial systems. The design allows for easy installation and access to all service elements without the need to dismantle the entire valve.
