Precise hydraulic balancing in heating and cooling systems

The STAD ZERO balancing valve is a professional solution enabling accurate hydraulic balancing of heating and cooling installations as well as domestic hot water circulation systems. Manufactured from lead-free brass with a lead content below 0.1%.

Construction and materials ensuring durability

The valve body and cover are made of AMETAL® – a special dezincification-resistant alloy. This innovative material guarantees long-term corrosion resistance and dimensional stability even under demanding operating conditions.

Seals are made of EPDM O-rings, ensuring reliable sealing between the body and cover as well as in the valve seat. The AMETAL® stem and PTFE sliding washer minimize friction during adjustment, extending the service life of the device.

The handle, made of polyamide and TPE, is equipped with a digital scale, enabling precise and quick setting of flow values. AMETAL® measuring ports feature self-sealing EPDM seals for safe connection of measuring instruments.

Functionality and operating parameters

The valve offers comprehensive functionality including hydraulic balancing, pre-setting, flow measurement, medium shut-off, and drainage (in models equipped with this function). The maximum operating temperature is 120°C, with a short-term peak of 150°C. The minimum operating temperature is -20°C.

Pressure class PN 25 allows operation at pressures up to 25 bar with a medium temperature up to 120°C. The valve is compatible with water, neutral fluids, and water-glycol mixtures with a concentration up to 57%.

Connections and system compatibility

The device is equipped with internal threads compliant with standard ISO 228, with thread lengths corresponding to ISO 7/1 standards for internal connections and DIN 3546 for external connections. Smooth ends designed for press-fit systems are also available.

The valve body is marked IMI TA PN 25/400 WWP and nominal diameter DN40, also expressed in inches (1½"). The handle is marked with the symbol TA STAD* and nominal diameter DN40.

The valve meets European standards for pressure equipment, and DN50 models additionally carry the CE marking confirming compliance with EU product safety directives.
