Smart control valve TA-SMART FS (Fail-safe) DN 32 32223300032
Intelligent control valve TA-SMART FS DN 32
TA-SMART FS DN 32 utilizes a unique EQM characteristic and ultrasonic flow measurement technology with a fail-safe function. The valve can operate based on flow, power, or temperature difference ΔT, and its compact design significantly shortens installation and commissioning time. The Ametal-C housing ensures durability in harsh industrial conditions.
Precise measurement and control technology
The heart of the system is the ultrasonic volumetric flow measurement with high accuracy, regardless of the medium type and its temperature. The valve is equipped with two Pt1000 temperature sensors and electronic pressure compensation, allowing for precise control of operating parameters.
A Kvs value of 7.28 guarantees optimal efficiency at an average flow rate of 0.25-1.28 l/s. The adjustable equal percentage/linear characteristic allows for adaptation to specific installation requirements. A stroke length of 13.7 mm with self-regulation enables control even at very low flows under part-load conditions.
The system supports 0-10V and 4-20mA control signals, and the 24V AC/DC supply voltage allows for application in various building automation systems. Maximum power consumption is only 5.6 VA.
Advanced safety and communication functions
The fail-safe function is a key safety element - the valve can be configured to automatically switch to an open, closed, or intermediate position in the event of a system failure. The user has full control over the input/output delay settings when exiting fail-safe mode.
The device offers wide communication possibilities - digitally via BUS and MQTT protocols and analogously via 0(2)-10 VDC or 0(4)-20 mA signals. Full configuration is possible via Bluetooth using a dedicated mobile application or a web interface.
Additionally, the valve features a data logger enabling information collection for up to 13 months with cloud storage capability. Real-time monitoring and automatic stroke recognition ensure continuous control of operating parameters.
Construction and operating parameters
The housing made of Ametal-C alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance and dimensional stability within a temperature range of -10°C to +110°C at a working pressure of PN25. The stem and ball seals are made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, ensuring long-term tightness.
The device maintains full functionality at a relative humidity of 5-95% and an ambient temperature of 0-50°C with an IP54 protection class. The maximum differential pressure is 400 kPa, and the minimum differential pressure is only 5 kPa, enabling operation even at low hydraulic resistances.
Compact dimensions (200×97×199 mm) facilitate installation even in limited mounting spaces.
