The system utilizes ultrasonic flow measurement technology combined with a unique EQM (Equal Percentage Multi-turn) characteristic. It ensures the highest quality of regulation through the ability to control based on flow, power, or temperature difference ΔT, guaranteeing optimal comfort in heating and cooling installations.
The valve is equipped with an electronic safety function (fail-safe), which automatically switches the device to a safe position in the event of a system error or loss of power. This advanced function can be configured to the open, closed, or intermediate position, with the possibility of setting an action delay for reliable and optimal fail-safe operation.
Advanced control and communication functions
TA-SMART FS offers a wide range of safety function configurations and versatile communication, both digital and analog. The system supports BUS and MQTT protocols as well as 0(2)-10 VDC or 0(4)-20 mA analog signals, ensuring full integration with existing building automation systems.
The device is fully configurable via Bluetooth using a dedicated mobile application, significantly reducing commissioning and diagnostic time. Additionally, web interface support is available, allowing for remote monitoring of operating parameters.
The system offers a heating/cooling mode with the ability to switch between two operating conditions to manage seasonal heating and cooling using the same valve when changing applications. The Delta-T management function allows for the optional limitation of ΔT and return temperature, optimizing system efficiency.
High-quality construction and materials
The valve is made of AMETAL® material - a special corrosion-resistant alloy that ensures long-term reliability in demanding operating conditions. The stem made of stainless steel guarantees precise operation throughout its service life.
Seals are made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, providing excellent resistance to high temperatures and compatibility with glycol. The system is characterized by a very low leakage of <0.01% of the Kvs value in the correct flow direction (class IV according to EN 60534-4).
The device operates in a medium temperature range of -10...110°C, at a nominal pressure of PN 25 and a maximum differential pressure of 400 kPa. The IP54 protection rating allows for installation in industrial environments with a relative humidity of 5...95%.

The system ensures precise and rapid regulation even at very low flows under part-load conditions.
The compact design of the valve allows for a significant reduction in installation and commissioning time, reducing the required space and simplifying the modernization of existing installations. The device is supplied with all necessary components (temperature sensor housing and temperature sensor with a 3m cable) ready for installation.
The system offers real-time monitoring and data logging for up to 13 months with the possibility of cloud data storage (optional). This enables quick checking of the safety function status and adjustment of settings for optimal heating or cooling system performance.
The flow rate range is 0.74...3.72 l/s, and the valve characteristic can be set as constant or linear according to application needs (adjustable).
