TA-SMART-Dp DN 40 - advanced differential pressure controller
TA-SMART-Dp DN 40 is a 2-way electronic differential pressure controller with flow, temperature, and power measurement functions. The device utilizes ultrasonic flow measurement technology combined with precise electronic control.
Advanced measurement technology and control
At the heart of the system is a 2-way electronic differential pressure controller with a unique EQM characteristic, which enables simultaneous measurement of three key parameters: flow, temperature, and power. The ultrasonic measurement method guarantees high accuracy regardless of the medium type and its temperature across the entire flow range.
The system offers control: dependent on flow, power, or ΔT (temperature difference), allowing for optimal adjustment to the specifics of the installation. The adjustable working range enables precise setting of operating parameters, and the valve characteristic can be configured as constant percentage or linear.
High-quality construction and materials
The device body is made of AMETAL® - a special corrosion-resistant alloy that ensures long-term reliability in water and glycol installations. The stem is made of stainless steel, and the stem seal is made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, guaranteeing tightness across a wide temperature range.
The compact design with dimensions of 218×198×97 mm significantly reduces installation time and the required space. The device is supplied fully assembled, simplifying the installation procedure. The maximum differential pressure is 400 kPa, and the pressure class is PN 25.
Advanced communication and diagnostic functions
TA-SMART-Dp offers versatile communication capabilities, both digital and analog. The system supports BUS and MQTT protocols as well as 0-10V or 4-20mA analog signals. The control signal can be configured as a proportional split of ranges with the possibility of system swapping.
The device is equipped with a data logger capable of storing information for 13 months. Real-time monitoring enables continuous analysis of operating parameters (flow, temperature, power), allowing for accurate identification of installation issues. Additionally, cloud data collection is available for easy access to system parameters.
Intuitive configuration and operational safety
Device configuration is performed via a web interface and a handheld terminal with Bluetooth support. A mobile application enables quick system startup and diagnostics without the need for physical access to the device. Automatic stroke recognition and self-regulating stroke length (15 mm) ensure optimal operation.
The system features a valve blockage detection function and a fail-safe position in case of error. The working range can be adjusted via the web interface or the handheld terminal. The IP54 protection rating and permissible relative humidity of 5-95% ensure reliable operation in difficult environmental conditions.
Electrical and environmental parameters
Power supply is provided by 24V AC/DC voltage with a maximum power consumption of 5.6 VA. The connection cable length is 3 meters, providing installation flexibility. The system is equipped with Pt1000 temperature sensors (2 pieces) and an electronic pressure compensation mechanism.
The device operates stably in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 50°C, and the medium can have an average continuous operating temperature from -10°C to 110°C. Leakage relative to Kvs is only 0.01%.
