Modern actuator configuration via smartphone

TA-Dongle is a compact communication module that enables wireless configuration and control of TA-Slider actuators via the HyTune smartphone application. Thanks to Bluetooth technology, it allows for intuitive management of device parameters even in hard-to-reach places.

Functionality and capabilities

The device provides full control over the actuators through a mobile interface — more than 200 configuration parameters can be modified remotely, including operating characteristics, input and output signals, and BUS communication settings. The HyTune application is available for iOS version 8.0 and above, and Android version 4.3 and above.

Manual control

This is possible thanks to dedicated buttons — they enable up/down actuator movement and switching between automatic and manual modes. An LED indicator informs about the Bluetooth connection status and the module's battery charge level.

Application and compatibility

TA-Dongle is compatible with the entire range of TA-Slider actuators — models 160, 500, 750, and 1250. It is particularly useful in valve installations, where it enables precise adjustment of operating parameters without the need for physical access to the device.

The module allows for copying identical settings between multiple actuators — simply configure one unit and copy the parameters to the other devices using a single configuration button.

Configuration and power supply

Configuration of BUS parameters (address, baud rate, parity) takes place exclusively via the HyTune application with the TA-Dongle module connected. The device can operate independently of the actuator's power supply — all settings are saved in the module's memory.

The micro USB connector enables charging of the built-in accumulator, and the compact design facilitates transport between different installation points.

HyTune application and additional functions

The application offers an intuitive interface with an overview of current operating statuses, error statistics, and the possibility of mode calibration. It also enables control of output signals (0/2-10V) and management of fail-safe positions.

The system automatically detects the type of connected TA-Slider actuator and adjusts the available configuration options to the specific model.
