TA-SMART-Dp DN 50 Control Valve

TA-SMART-Dp is a 2-way electronic differential pressure controller with flow, temperature, and power measurement functions. It utilizes ultrasonic flow measurement technology combined with control capabilities to ensure high-quality regulation.

The device maintains a stable differential pressure in the circuit, enabling accurate and stable operating conditions. It ensures high valve authority during fluid regulation and can reduce noise and simplify the balancing procedure.

Precise measurements and system control

At the heart of the system is a measurement module using Pt1000 sensors to monitor temperature in the range of -10 to 110°C. The ultrasonic volumetric flow measurement method ensures high accuracy regardless of the medium type and its temperature across the entire flow range from 0.74 to 3.72 l/s.

A Kvs value of 21.2 guarantees optimal flow characteristics for nominal diameters DN 50. The system offers a choice between equal percentage and linear characteristics, adapting to specific installation requirements. Electronic pressure compensation eliminates the impact of system fluctuations on regulation accuracy.

Advanced diagnostic and communication functions

TA-SMART-Dp is equipped with a data logger capable of storing information for 13 months and a real-time monitoring function. The system automatically recognizes the valve stroke (15 mm) and adjusts operating parameters with a maximum power consumption of 5.6 VA.

The Web interface enables configuration and diagnostics via BUS and MQTT protocols or 0-10 V / 4-20 mA analog signals. Paired temperature sensors (2 pieces) allow for Delta-T management.

Durable construction and materials

The body is made of AMETAL®, which is characterized by resistance to corrosion and scaling. The stainless steel stem and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) seals ensure tightness with a leakage rate of 0.01% of the Kvs value.

The device operates in an ambient temperature from 0 to 50°C with a relative humidity of 5-95%. The IP54 protection rating guarantees operation in various environmental conditions.

Wide range of applications

The valve handles glycol and water at operating temperatures from -10 to 110°C with a maximum differential pressure of 400 kPa. The PN 25 pressure class and BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) threads compliant with ISO 228 enable integration with existing installations.

The compact design (198×97×239 mm) reduces installation time and the required installation space. Delivered in an assembled state, the valve shortens commissioning time while maintaining full system functionality.
