Freeze protection for your Immergas Victrix Hybrid boiler

This antifreeze protection kit is specifically designed for use with outdoor units of Immergas Victrix Hybrid boilers. Its purpose is to protect the installation from the effects of low temperatures, ensuring continuous system operation even in harsh weather conditions. This kit is an investment in peace of mind and avoiding costly repairs resulting from water freezing in the installation.

The kit includes all the necessary elements to properly protect the boiler, including a 50W heating cable at 230V and a precise Klixon thermostat, which activates the heating when the temperature drops. This thermostat activates at 14°C (with a tolerance of +/- 3°C) and switches off at 4°C (with a tolerance of +/- 3°C), providing optimal freeze protection.

Installation and connection – the key to effectiveness

Installing the kit requires disconnecting the boiler's power supply and accessing its housing. It is crucial to properly wrap the heating cable around the siphon of the outdoor unit – once for standard Victrix Hybrid models, and three times for Victrix Tera Plus. Correct electrical connection according to the diagram (Fig. 29, 30 or 31 depending on the model) is also extremely important. The cables should be connected to the terminal block in the control panel: the gray heating cable to the black cable of the Klixon thermostat, the white heating cable to the additional white cable in the kit, and the brown cable of the Klixon thermostat to terminal A of the terminal block. Connect the additional white cable to terminal B. Remember to ground the device!

Important: The kit has been factory tested and does not require additional tests after installation, however, make sure that all electrical connections are made correctly and safely. The proper functioning of the kit is guaranteed with a supply voltage of 230V ± 10% / 50 Hz and with the main switch on and the boiler fuse intact.

Safety and reliable operation

The antifreeze kit provides protection for the installation up to an ambient temperature of -15°C, provided it is installed and powered correctly. Thanks to this, you can be sure that your boiler will operate without interruption even during extreme frosts. However, remember that external factors such as water hardness or scale in the installation can affect system performance – regular maintenance is key to maintaining full device efficiency.
