Corrugated halogen-free conduit (halogen-free flexible conduit) RIL-PA6-HB-P with pull cord, 9x14, UV resistant /50m/ W2503
Highly durable corrugated pipe with pull cord – protection and easy installation
This black, halogen-free corrugated pipe RIL-PA6-HB-P, with a diameter of 9x14 mm, is a reliable solution for protecting electrical cables in installations requiring increased fire resistance and minimal emission of toxic substances during combustion. Made of modified polyamide 6 (PA6), it provides safety and durability in a variety of applications. The built-in pull cord (steel wire) significantly facilitates cable pulling, saving time and effort during installation.
Properties and application
The pipe is designed for laying and securing cables in electrical installations, especially where fire safety is a priority. It is ideal for industrial installations exposed to high temperatures and mechanical loads. Thanks to its properties, the pipe is perfectly suited for use in places with stringent requirements regarding the emission of toxic compounds during combustion – i.e. where the protection of health and the environment is important. However, it should not be used outdoors, where it may be exposed to direct UV radiation. The flexible construction allows for easy adaptation to the installation layout.
Key features and benefits
- Halogen-free: The absence of halogens in the material composition means minimal emission of toxic gases during a fire, increasing the safety of people and equipment.
- Self-extinguishing material: The pipe has a flammability rating of HB (UL94), which limits the spread of fire in the event of ignition. Modification to V-1 or V-2 (UL94) and B-1 or B-2 (DIN 4102) available on request.
- Pull cord for easy installation: The built-in steel wire significantly simplifies pulling cables through the pipe, shortening installation time and reducing the risk of damage to the wires.
- Mechanical resistance: Compressive strength of 320 N provides protection of cables against mechanical damage.
- Wide temperature range: The pipe retains its properties in the temperature range from -25°C to +120°C (momentarily up to +180°C), allowing its use in various environmental conditions.
- Chemical resistance: The material is resistant to many chemicals, increasing its durability and reliability in harsh industrial conditions.
- UV resistance: Although not recommended for outdoor use, the material exhibits good UV resistance, especially in black color.
- Compliance with standards: The product meets the requirements of directive 2014/35/EU (LVD).
Additionally, the way the pipes are packaged has been designed to facilitate their storage and prevent tangling after the coil has been started – a small detail that every installer will appreciate!
