The N2XCH cable is an advanced solution designed to power electrical devices, both in fixed and mobile installations. The N2XCH cable with a cross-section of 3x120 mm² is an ideal choice for installations with high power demand. Thanks to the use of halogen-free insulation, in the event of a fire, it limits the emission of toxic gases, which significantly increases the safety of users and facilitates evacuation. The cable's construction with a screen also minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable operation of connected devices.
Construction features and operating parameters
The N2XCH cable is distinguished by careful workmanship and the use of high-quality materials. Copper conductors of class 1 (according to EN 60228/IEC 60228) guarantee excellent electrical conductivity and long-term reliability. The use of halogen-free technology translates into meeting stringent fire safety standards. This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -5°C to +90°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +50°C (mobile installations), making it a versatile solution for various applications. The maximum conductor temperature during a short circuit is 250°C (duration max. 5 seconds). The minimum bending radius for fixed installation is 15 times the cable diameter.
Safety and compliance with standards
The N2XCH cable meets the highest safety standards and has a B2ca classification according to EN 13501-6, which means limited flammability and low smoke emission in the event of a fire. Additionally, it is characterized by a smoke emission class s1 and a burning droplets/particles formation class d0, as well as an acidity class a1 – which confirms its high quality and safety of use. Thanks to these properties, this cable can be used in places with increased fire protection requirements, such as public buildings, hospitals or schools.
