Halogen-free power cable N2XCH – safety and reliability of installation
N2XCH 4x6 RE/6 cable is an advanced solution designed to power electrical devices, both in fixed and mobile installations. Made of copper conductors, it is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Its construction ensures safe and efficient power transmission, minimizing the risk of failures and downtime.
Construction and properties
The N2XCH cable is primarily distinguished by the use of halogen-free materials, which significantly increases the level of fire safety. In the event of a fire, this cable emits a minimal amount of toxic gases and smoke, which is crucial for protecting health and human life. Additionally, the cable meets stringent standards regarding fire resistance – the fire reaction class is B2ca, which means limited flammability, low smoke emission (s1) and no formation of burning droplets (d0). Acidity class a1 guarantees no corrosion in case of gas release during combustion.
The cable has four conductors with a cross-section of 6 mm², which allows for efficient power transmission in installations requiring higher loads. Copper conductors class 1 (according to EN 60228/IEC 60228) ensure excellent electrical conductivity and long-term reliability. The cable screen increases resistance to electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments or near devices generating noise.
