90° Copper elbow - 15 2265302001
90° copper elbow is a component of the KAN-therm Copper system, designed for creating connections in water and heating installations. Made of copper, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, and the "Press" crimping technology guarantees quick and safe installation without the need for soldering. This solution is appreciated by both professionals and end-users due to its ease of installation and reliability.
Construction and application
The 90° elbow is used to change the direction of pipes in the installation. Made of CU-DHP copper (CW024A) and bronze 2.109, it ensures compatibility with other elements of the KAN-therm Copper system. Designed for crimp connections, which eliminates the risk of leaks typical of traditional connection methods. Therefore, it is suitable for domestic water installations, central heating, and underfloor heating systems.
The elbow is equipped with an EPDM O-ring seal, which ensures tightness in the temperature range from -20°C to 110°C and pressure up to 16 bar. The LBP (Leak Before Press) function – signaling un-crimped connections – further increases safety by informing about potential errors during installation. The elbow construction with a three-point clamp guarantees a secure and durable connection.
Advantages for the installer and user
- Fast installation: The "Press" crimping technology significantly reduces installation time compared to traditional soldering methods.
- Safety: No need to use open flame eliminates the risk of fire during installation, which is particularly important during the renovation of older buildings.
- Reliability: The three-point clamp and O-ring seal ensure a tight and durable connection, minimizing the risk of failure.
- Aesthetics: The copper elbow looks aesthetically pleasing and blends well with other installation elements, especially in visible installations.
- Versatility: Can be used in various types of installations – water, heating, and underfloor heating.
- LBP function: Controlled leak before full crimping allows detection of installation errors at the installation stage, before they lead to more serious problems.
- Corrosion resistance: Copper is a corrosion-resistant material, which ensures a long service life of the installation.
The 15 mm diameter 90° Copper elbow is a reliable and convenient solution for anyone who values quality, safety, and speed of installation. It is ideal for both new installations and modernization of existing heating and water systems.
