Reducing brass tee ultraLINE – a leak-proof installation element
This reducing tee, made of brass (CW617N), connects pipes of different diameters – 32 mm, 16 mm and 25 mm. It is part of the KAN-therm ultraLINE system, designed for ringless connection of PERT2, PEXC and PERTAL2 pipes using a PVDF sliding sleeve. Its construction minimizes constrictions, which translates to better flow rate and lower pressure loss in the installation.
Versatility and compatibility are key features of this tee. The ability to connect different types of pipes using the same fittings and sliding sleeves provides great flexibility during installation. This solution will be appreciated by both installers and designers who can adapt the system to the specifics of the building and the investor's preferences.
Construction and application
The ultraLINE tee is distinguished by a symmetrical sliding sleeve construction, which facilitates installation – it does not require precise positioning during crimping. Made of high-quality brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The fitting is ringless, which eliminates the risk of leaks and allows the installation to be run inside building partitions (in floor screed or under plaster) without additional seals.
This tee finds application in various installations:
- Potable water
- Heating
- Technological heat
- Cooling
- Compressed air
- Technical gases
- Underfloor, wall and ceiling heating
Thanks to its wide range of applications, it is a universal element of every heating or water system.
Advantages for professionals and end users
- Quick and convenient installation: The symmetrical sliding sleeve and the possibility of mounting on both sides significantly speed up the installer's work. 270° angled mounting facilitates access in hard-to-reach places.
- Safety and durability: The brass construction and ringless connection guarantee tightness and long-term operation without the risk of leaks.
- Optimal hydraulics: Minimized cross-sectional constrictions reduce pressure losses in the installation, which translates to more efficient system operation.
- Configuration flexibility: The ability to connect different types of pipes (PERT2, PEXC, PERTAL2) using one type of fitting simplifies component selection.
- Compatibility: The tee is compatible with other elements of the KAN-therm ultraLINE system and with tools dedicated to "press" connections.
