Robust threaded connection in PP-R installations

Polypropylene fitting with an external thread, designed for connecting PP-R pipes and fittings with elements of installations with a metric thread. Made of brass, it ensures durability and reliability of the connection. It is ideal for cold water, hot water and central heating systems.

This particular model, with a diameter of 32 mm and a 1 inch thread, is compatible with the KAN-therm PP system, but thanks to the standard thread it can be used in many other installations. The use of brass in combination with PP-R guarantees corrosion resistance and long-lasting tightness.

Construction and assembly

The fitting has a simple construction, which facilitates its assembly. The brass part with an external thread is permanently connected to a PP-R element intended for welding. Assembly is carried out using standard polyfusion welding methods – requires the use of an appropriate PP-R welder and tools for preparing the surfaces of the connected elements. Remember to thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces before welding to ensure a tight and durable connection. The manufacturer's warranty of KAN Sp. z o.o. covers 10 years (in the case of individual construction even 15 years).
