90° brass compression elbow Compression ultraPRESS - 16/15 1009068018
Brass compression fitting for press systems – a reliable connection in the installation
Compression ultraPRESS brass 90° elbow 16/15 is an element designed to create durable and tight connections in water and heating installations. Made of high-quality brass (CW617N), it provides corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. This fitting is compatible with multilayer and homogeneous pipes, making it a universal solution for professionals and demanding users.
Construction and application
This elbow, designed for pressing, utilizes compression connection technology, which guarantees safety and tightness. Equipped with a stainless steel clamping ring and an EPDM O-ring seal, it minimizes the risk of leaks. The LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function further increases the certainty of correct installation – in case of incomplete pressing, the leak is visible before the installation is put into use. The elbow is ideal for central heating, domestic hot and cold water, and cooling systems installations. It can be used in conjunction with KAN-therm STEEL, KAN-therm Inox and KAN-therm-Copper systems.
Key features and benefits
- Durability and resistance: The brass body provides resistance to corrosion and high pressure, guaranteeing a long service life of the connection.
- Tightness: The EPDM O-ring seal and the stainless steel clamping ring ensure a tight connection without the risk of leaks.
- Safety: The LBP (Leak Before Press) function allows for early detection of an incorrectly made connection, increasing the safety of the installation.
- Versatility: Compatibility with various types of pipes (multilayer and homogeneous) and KAN-therm systems makes the elbow versatile in application.
- Easy installation: The pressing system enables quick and precise installation without the need for welding or soldering.
- Diameter identification: The diameter identifying ring facilitates the correct selection of crimping jaws during installation.
- Crimping profiles: The fitting works with U and TH crimping profiles, providing flexibility when installing different pipe diameters. Remember to choose the appropriate jaw profile depending on the pipe diameter! For a diameter of 26mm, you can use the "C" or "TH" profile.
