PENTAL ultraPRESS pipe is an advanced solution for building water and heating installations, combining the advantages of strength and flexibility. Made of polyethylene with increased thermal resistance, reinforced with a butt welded aluminum layer, it ensures reliability and long-term operation. A 5-meter rod facilitates transport and assembly on the construction site.

Construction and application

The three-layer structure of the pipe – a combination of plastic and aluminum – guarantees high resistance to pressure and temperature. Aluminum acts as an anti-diffusion barrier for oxygen, protecting installation components from corrosion. The PENTAL ultraPRESS pipe is designed for a wide range of applications, including:

• Installations of cold and hot domestic water.
• Radiator heating.
• Underfloor heating and cooling.
• External surface heating and cooling.
• Compressed air installations.

Thanks to the application class 1-5 (according to ISO 10508), the pipe will work in both residential buildings and public utility facilities. The value of the coefficient of thermal expansion α (0.023-0.025 mm/mxK) and thermal conductivity λ (0.43 W/mxK) affect the stability of the installation in variable temperature conditions. The minimum bending radius of the pipe is 3.5 x D_z when using profiling tools or 5.0 x D_z without them, which facilitates adaptation to complex installation layouts.
