Brass reducing tee ultraPRESS - 32/20/32 1009260294

System UltraPress - modern installation solution

The ultraPRESS brass reducing tee is an element of the advanced KAN-THERM installation system, designed for professional connections of homogeneous and multilayer pipes in water-sewage, heating, and cooling installations. Thanks to its universal design, it enables flexible installation design while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

The UltraPress system is characterized by its completeness - it consists of PE-Xc or PE-RT multilayer polyethylene pipes with an EVOH barrier and PE-RT/Al with an aluminum layer, connected with high-quality fittings made of CW617N brass or advanced PPSU plastic. This modularity allows for optimal component matching to the specific requirements of each installation.

High-quality construction and materials

The tee body is made of high-grade CW617N brass, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical stability under various operating conditions. This material is also characterized by good machinability and resistance to water and typical chemicals used in installations.

The pressing sleeve is made of stainless steel no. 1.4301, guaranteeing its durability and resistance to corrosion processes throughout its service life. The O-ring seal is made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), a material with high flexibility and temperature resistance.

The design includes a diameter identification ring, which facilitates the correct selection of pressing tools (the ring is not used for diameters larger than 50mm). Additionally, a plastic seating ring is provided, which stabilizes the position of the sleeve relative to the body during the pressing process.

Versatility of applications and system compatibility

The reducing tee with dimensions 32/20/32 mm enables the creation of branches in installations with different pipe diameters, which is particularly useful when modernizing existing systems or designing new installations requiring changes in pipeline cross-sections. This function makes it possible to optimize medium flow and adjust hydraulic parameters to the specific requirements of each installation section.

The system supports both homogeneous pipes and multilayer pipes, significantly expanding the range of possible applications. PE-Xc pipes are characterized by high flexibility and resistance to cracking under thermal stress, while PE-RT pipes maintain their mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.

The use of Press technology enables fast, simple, and convenient installation without the need for welding or threading components. The pressing process is repeatable and controlled by tools dedicated to a specific U or TH profile, eliminating the risk of installation errors characteristic of traditional joining methods.

Installation safety and operating parameters

A key feature of the system is LBP (Leak Before Press) - signaling a controlled leak before a full connection is made. This innovative technology informs of an incorrectly performed pressing operation through a controlled medium leak before the final closure of the connection, which practically eliminates the risk of hidden installation errors.

The maximum working pressure at a temperature of 20°C is 10 bar, which covers the requirements of most standard domestic installations and industrial installations with medium operating parameters. The design also takes into account a resistance flange and additional elements such as an air vent or a plug, which can be used in specialized applications.

The system holds comprehensive international certificates confirming its safety of use - FM (Factory Mutual), LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board), ULC (Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada), and UL (Underwriters Laboratories), enabling its use in buildings with increased fire safety requirements and in industrial applications with high failure risk.
