Copper elbow for press fittings

This is a 45° elbow made of copper, designed for creating connections in copper installations made using the press technology – so-called "press". It is an element of the KAN-therm Copper system, which is distinguished by its speed and reliability of installation. The elbow allows changing the direction of the pipe by 45 degrees, finding application in water heating, cooling systems, domestic water installations, as well as in compressed air and technical gas systems.

Construction and special features

The elbow is made of high-quality copper CU-DHP, which guarantees its durability and corrosion resistance. It has two clamping connections (clamping sleeves) with a diameter of 28 mm, which allows for easy and tight connection with pipes of the same diameter. A key feature of this elbow is the use of an O-ring seal made of EPDM material, which ensures tightness over a wide range of temperatures (from -20°C to 110°C) and pressures (up to 16 bar). Additionally, the fitting has a controlled leakage function LBP (Leak Before Press), which allows detecting an improperly pressed connection before commissioning the installation – this is important for ensuring the safety and reliability of the system.
