Mounting for photovoltaic systems on roofs with bituminous or membrane coverings

The CWL mounting plate with dimensions of 375x375 mm is a solid and universal solution for mounting photovoltaic panels on roofs covered with roofing felt, PVC membrane, EPDM or other bituminous materials. Made of stainless steel H17 (1.4016), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh weather conditions. The possibility of mounting both above and below the membrane provides flexibility and allows adaptation to the specifics of the roof.

This plate eliminates the need for additional mechanical connections, simplifying the installation process and increasing its safety. Its construction is designed for strength – it meets the requirements of EN 13707 standard in terms of tensile, tear and shear strength. This guarantees stable and safe mounting of panels for many years.

Construction and application

The CWL plate is not only a mounting element, but also a sealing element. The possibility of welding it to the roofing membrane ensures a tight connection and protects against water leakage. This makes the installation not only durable but also aesthetic. The plate is designed for use with various types of membranes, including PVC, ECB/FPO and bituminous. Additionally, it can be used to mount other elements on the roof, such as ventilation outlets or signs.

The weight of a single plate is 1.8 kg and its thickness is 2 mm. Corrosion class C4 ensures corrosion resistance for 40 years of use. For mounting, it is recommended to use M10x(32/50) A2 screws with sealing washers and M10 A2 nuts. Depending on the type of roof covering, appropriate fixing screws can be used – for sheet metal, concrete or wood.
