Sump Pump for Complete Basement Dewatering, Designed for Floor Slab Installation

This unit features two SPZ 1000 type pumps equipped with a grinder and an integrated check valve, ensuring safe discharge of both sewage and clean rainwater or laundry wastewater. The polyethylene (PE) tank has a total capacity of 40 liters, with 20 liters of usable volume, guaranteeing stable operation even during short, intensive discharge cycles. The entire assembly is designed for installation within a floor slab, with an installation depth ranging from 490 to 600 mm—ideal for new constructions or renovations.

Installation and Integrated Functions

The DN 100 inlet connection (external diameter 110 mm) allows connection to a single sewage source; additional inlets must not be added. The tank also includes a DN 50 opening for the kabelleerrohr and a DN 70 opening for ventilation—all ready for installation. The cover features an integrated drain with a Multistop gasket lock and a Lock & Lift system, enabling tool-free removal. It can be tiled over (maximum floor thickness 16 mm), providing full integration with the floor finish. The telescopic adapter allows precise leveling during concrete pouring.

Safety and Control

The pumps have an IP68 protection rating, allowing complete submersion, and their motors are thermally protected and monitored by the SDS (Selbstdiagnosesystem) system. The Comfort controller, mounted on a wall in a dry location, automatically operates both pumps: it activates them upon rising water levels, detects faults, and signals them both audibly and visually. It includes error display on the screen, operational logging, a USB port for diagnostics, and an optional potential-free contact for connection to an alarm system. The pump's power cable is 5 m long and ends with a plug, eliminating the need for the installer to run separate wiring.

Performance and Operating Conditions

The maximum head is 10 meters—sufficient to discharge sewage even from the deepest basements under buildings located on streets. The flow rate reaches up to 11.5 m³/h at 230 V / 50 Hz. Power consumption is 1.2 kW (P1), while the motor output power is 0.69 kW (P2). The unit operates in S3 mode (50% duty cycle), meaning it can run for one minute every two minutes—perfectly suited for typical household loads. Fluid temperature must not exceed 40°C during continuous operation; however, it can briefly (for 2 minutes) tolerate hot water up to 80°C.

Important Installation Notes

Before pouring concrete, the Druckleitungsset Nr. 28040 must be installed—without this step, the installation cannot be considered complete. For waterproof concrete, the use of Dichtungsset Nr. 83023 or the complete WU-Einbauset Nr. 83077 is required; only these ensure permanent isolation between the unit and the structure. Additional inlet connections are prohibited—the unit is designed exclusively for a single inflow source. Wireless communication is not supported; control is performed solely via the wired Comfort controller. The net weight of the unit exceeds 44 kg, requiring solid support during installation and concrete pouring.
