The K10SCO sensor is an advanced device that combines smoke and carbon monoxide detection functions, providing comprehensive protection for your home. Equipped with independent sensors – optical for fire detection and electrochemical for carbon monoxide detection – it reacts quickly and effectively to both threats. Construction and operation

The device uses a patented Kidde electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide and a high-quality Kidde optical sensor dedicated to detecting fire hazards. When a threat is detected, a loud 85 dB audible alarm, optical signaling (red LED), and a voice message (in English) informing about the type of threat are activated. The Test/Reset button allows for regular device functionality checks and alarm resetting. Additionally, the sensor has a memory function that records information about the detection of dangerous CO concentrations or fire hazards.

Installation and power supply

The K10SCO sensor can be easily mounted on both the ceiling and the wall. It is powered by 2 AA alkaline batteries (included), which ensures independence from the electrical network and allows installation in the optimal location. The built-in automatic functionality control system constantly monitors the condition of the sensors and internal circuits, signaling any malfunctions. The device complies with PN-EN14604:2006P (EN14604:2005) standards for smoke detectors and EN50291-1:2018 for carbon monoxide detectors, confirming its high level of safety and reliability. Additionally, it has a TÜV Rheinland certificate confirming compliance with both standards.
