High-quality construction and materials

The housing is made of halogen-free polycarbonate (PC), which is characterized by exceptional resistance to intensive use and external factors. Halogen-free material significantly increases the safety level.

The design is based on a claw and screw system, which guarantees stable mounting of the accessory in the installation box. The device dimensions are 77×77×42 mm, and the installation depth is only 26 mm, allowing for mounting even in shallow boxes. The surface is finished in white RAL 9003 with a glossy finish, which blends perfectly with various interior designs.

Electrical parameters and mounting options

The device operates at 250 V~ voltage and 10 A current, making it suitable for most standard lighting circuits. The rated current for fluorescent lamps is 10 AX, ensuring compatibility with various types of light sources.

Mounting is flush-mounted in a standard box with a diameter of Ø60 mm. Mounting is possible using both claws and traditional screws, providing flexibility in choosing the installation method. Wire connections are made via push-in terminals, which allow for quick and convenient installation without the need for tools.

IP protection and certification

Standardly, the push-button provides an IP20 protection rating. However, it is possible to increase the protection class to IP44 by using a dedicated frame seal – this solution ensures splash-proof and dust-resistant performance.

The product has CE and RoHS certificates, confirming compliance with European standards and the absence of harmful substances. The manufacturer's warranty for the Simon 10 series is 6 years.

Application and functionality

The push-button operates on the principle of a monostable normally open switch – the circuit remains closed only while the key is pressed (similar to a doorbell). It is equipped with two rocker keys, each controlling an independent electrical circuit. The wiring configuration is a 2x1-pole push-button with two normally open (NO) contacts.

Thanks to the modular design of the Simon 10 series, it is possible to create multiple sets (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5-gang) in both vertical and horizontal arrangements. The frame system allows for easy adaptation to various installation configurations.
