Thanks to this seal, a standard IP20 frame achieves the IP44 protection class, providing an effective barrier against water splashes and small dust particles.

Construction and materials ensuring durability

The product is made from high-quality halogen-free plastic, which guarantees not only mechanical resistance during intensive use but primarily increases user safety. The absence of halogens in the material composition eliminates the risk of releasing toxic substances in the event of a fire, which is particularly important in residential and office spaces.

The seal features a matte surface finish, giving the entire set a modern, aesthetic appearance that harmoniously fits into the style of the Simon Basic series.

Compatibility and mounting dimensions

The NU1 seal is compatible with frames from the Simon Basic Standard and Simon Classic series, forming a coherent installation system with them. The product dimensions are 82.5 × 82.5 × 12 mm, with a mounting depth of 11.5 mm, which exactly matches standard single-gang frames.

Each unit has an individual EAN code 5902787544393, facilitating identification and logistics. The product is packaged individually in a bag with a hang tag, and the master carton contains 40 units.

Compatibility limitations and operating conditions

Key limitation: The full IP44 protection class is achieved only when using dedicated sockets BMGZ1B, BMGD1B.01/22, or MGZ1BP. Using the seal with other types of sockets will not provide the declared level of splash protection.
