The product is made of polycarbonate (PC) – a material with high mechanical and thermal resistance, which retains its properties over many years of use. The halogen-free construction eliminates the release of toxic substances during a fire, significantly increasing the safety of occupants.

The matte surface finish gives the frame a modern, elegant character, and the timeless black color fits any interior design – from minimalist spaces to classic decor. The surface, whether lacquered or left natural, provides resistance to fingerprints and minor damage.

Mounting and compatibility

The snap-on mounting system enables quick and hassle-free installation on an electrical installation module. The construction allows for universal mounting in both horizontal and vertical orientations, offering great flexibility in designing installations.

The frame is designed for a single module, making it an ideal solution for single sockets, switches, or other electrical installation accessories. Compact dimensions (approx. 87×82×9.5 mm) ensure an aesthetic fit with most standard installation boxes.

IP protection and operating conditions

Standardly, the frame offers an IP20 protection rating, protecting against finger contact and access to solid objects larger than 12 mm in diameter. By using a dedicated frame seal, the protection rating can be increased to IP44, ensuring splash-proof protection and safeguarding against small water droplets.

This flexibility makes the frame suitable for both dry residential rooms and areas with higher humidity – bathrooms or kitchens (when using the seal). The PC material maintains its mechanical properties across a wide range of operating temperatures, guaranteeing reliability throughout its service life.
