The NW6.01/11 two-way switch is an electrical installation component that utilizes the PUSH IN mounting system, enabling fast and precise installation without the need for screws, which significantly accelerates the work of installers.

Mounting system and mechanical design

The PUSH IN mechanism guarantees stable and precise seating in the installation box and even three times faster installation compared to traditional solutions. This system eliminates problems with loose components and ensures secure fastening throughout the entire service life.

The construction based on halogen-free PC (polycarbonate) provides high resistance to intensive use and additional fire safety. The thermoplastic material is characterized by color durability thanks to refining and anti-static additives. The white surface finish (RAL 9003) with a glossy structure elegantly complements various interior arrangements.

The rocker mechanism operates on a switch principle - the spring does not bounce back after releasing the button, allowing for lighting control from two or more points. The installation depth is 24 mm, and the module dimensions are 77x77x41 mm.

Electrical parameters and application possibilities

The device operates at a rated voltage of 250 V~ and a rated fluorescent current of 10 AX, making it suitable for most lighting circuits in residential and commercial buildings. The "two-way switch" connection layout enables lighting control from stairs or long corridors.

Standardly, the product provides an IP20 protection class; however, by using a dedicated frame gasket, an increased protection of IP44 can be achieved. Such a modification protects against objects larger than 1mm and splashing water from all directions, expanding the range of applications to high-humidity rooms such as kitchens or bathrooms.

The "self-clamping plug" type quick connectors allow for fast and convenient connection of electrical wires without the need to bend cables, which is particularly useful for short wire segments. The claw-and-screw mounting provides flexibility in choosing the fastening method - both traditional claws and classic screws for the installation box can be used. Four-stage latches on the frames ensure even contact even with uneven walls, eliminating the problem of protruding fittings.
