This robust KSK 125 PO6P installation box, designed for surface mounting, provides reliable protection for electrical connections in demanding conditions. The box is designed with safety in mind. It is halogen-free, minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. Moreover, it meets stringent fire safety standards (ZP 27/2008, DIN 4102-12, STN 920205), offering E 90 function support – i.e. the ability to maintain circuit continuity for 90 minutes in fire conditions. This is crucial for alarm, fire protection and evacuation systems.

Construction and application

The KSK 125 PO6P box has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 126 x 126 x 76 mm and is equipped with a screw-mounted cover. It has as many as 13 inlets with a stepped cutting membrane, which facilitates the introduction of cables of various diameters. A screw terminal allows connection of wires with a maximum cross-section of 6 mm². The number of terminals is 5. It is intended for high-voltage cables and systems requiring the maintenance of functionality during a fire.

It is worth remembering that these boxes are equipped with terminal blocks to facilitate the connection of devices to the secondary line. However, these devices do not provide functionality during a fire and should be disconnected – their failure may cause incorrect operation or destruction of the main route.
