Electrical junction box – safety and functionality in one

The KSK 175 PO10P installation box is a reliable solution for electrical installations, especially where high resistance to external conditions and maintaining functionality in the event of a fire are required. Made of high-quality plastic, it provides effective protection of cables and connections against moisture, dust and mechanical damage – this is confirmed by the high degree of protection IP66.

The box is designed for surface mounting and is characterized by a rectangular shape with dimensions of 176 x 126 x 92 mm. The orange color (RAL 2004) makes it easier to identify in fire protection systems. Importantly, the box is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire.

Application and structural features

The KSK 175 PO10P box was designed with demanding applications in mind, including in public buildings, industrial facilities and wherever maintaining the continuity of the electrical installation in emergency situations is crucial. It has as many as 23 inlets with stepped cutting membranes, which facilitates the introduction of cables of various diameters and ensures the tightness of the connections. It is equipped with five screw terminals with a maximum cross-section of 10 mm², allowing for solid and safe connection of wires.

Safety first

The product meets strict safety standards and has certificates confirming its fire properties (classification according to ZP 27/2008, DIN 4102-12, STN 920205). Particular attention should be paid to the fact that the KSK PO series boxes are intended for use with devices that maintain functionality during a fire. In the event of connecting devices that do not have this feature, they must be disconnected – failure of such devices may lead to damage to the main route. The box has a plombable closure for additional protection against unauthorized access. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to 60°C, which allows it to be used in various environmental conditions.
